For this bathroom remodel, we painted the existing cabinets (the first photo shows the before), and added new hardware, we kept the existing countertop and sink and added a fun and fresh backsplash .We removed the tub and replaced it with zero threshold shower with a decorative glass panel, and added glass deco liner to add an accent with the white tile.

These are the latest bathroom remodels at Speas Interior Design. The first photo is a luxurious travertine bath includes a custom vanity, with a one-piece travertine top, with integrated travertine sink. We water jetted the travertine tiles so we could in-lay a mosaic stone design into them. We used a European partial glass partition, rain shower head and a soaking tub to complete the space. The second guest bathroom photo includes dual vessel sinks, wall mounted faucets, custom mirrors to match the contour cabinets, a quartzite counter with a glass tile mosaic backsplash. The five-panel frosted glass door leads to a steam shower. The stunning steam shower utilizes multi-dimensional 12x24 tile, quartzite bench, and glass mosaic floor tile complete the space. There is also a heated towel bar for added luxury. Photographs by Paul Kohlman.

Partnering with Sikora Creations, this shower remodel lends itself toward aging-in-place design. We enlarged the doorway, moved the toilet to the opposite wall to replace the old shower and shower pan with a larger tile shower.  The new custom glass shower door swings both ways.  We also added a rain-head shower, body sprays, grab bars and a seat complete with a hand shower.  Photo by Paul Kohlman.

Redesigning and redrawing bathrooms is a large part of our business.  As you can see from the "before" image, this bathroom had lots of wasted space.  Speas Interior Design re-worked the space and re-positioned key items for a better overall flow.  The tub was removed and replaced with a new large closet, and a beautiful shower with a bench was added to where the old closet used to be.
